Comparative Analysis of Temperature Distributions in a Convective-Radiative Porous Fin using Homotopy Perturbation and Differential Transformation and Methods

In this work, a comparative study of two approximate analytical methods for the thermal behaviour convective-radiative porous fin subjected to magnetic field using homotopy perturbation and differential transform is presented. Also, parametric studies effects thermal-geometric thermo-physical parameters are investigated. From study, it found that an increase in field, porosity, convective, radiative, rate heat transfer from consequently improves efficiency fin. There good agreements between results method with numerical method. agree very well each other. It hoped present work will serve as basis verifications other works on nonlinear analysis extended surface.
